Tao, Another Way of Being

An exhibition at the Grand Palais

For this first major European exhibition about Taoism, the Grand Palais has joined forces with the Musée Guimet (Paris' amazing Asian arts museum) to help you understand that there is much more to it than just yin and yang, or strange, slow movements made in parks (!)

250 objects of all types (paintings, sculptures, ceramics, bronze...) taken from French and European collections - as well as other exceptional pieces lent by the United States and Taiwan - will help you to gain a more rounded understanding of Taoism's particular way of thinking, paradoxically back in fashion in the 21st century.
