Dozen works of Mexican painting, scattered among the permanent collection in the Spanish painting rooms: from José Juarez to Cristobal Villalpando are displayed at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
'Mexico at the Louvre' enables visitors to discover the ever-changing face of Mexican art at a time when the New World was just being discovered and shaped by European explorers.
