Virgin Megastore

For sheer size and grandeur, you've got to hand it to the Virgin Megastore. Housed in what used to be an Italian bank, the monumental marble staircase, high ceiling and columns are probably the strangest (but chicest) setting for all your multimedia needs.

Over four floors you'll find a huge selection of CDs, DVD, Blu-ray, video games and a large café. Don't forget to check out the basement bookshop - huge too - where you'll actually be able to walk through the open door of the old safe to get from one part of the shop to the other!

Architecture & Comics

The city illustrated

The exhibition will present the links between comic and architecture to the wider public and comics aficionados. It will have a surface area of 1000 square metres. The exhibition will look at the many ways in which the town is interpreted in comics. It will be in chronological order with a final presentation of specific projects. References to cities that fuel the imagination, such as New-York, Paris and Tokyo interrupt this chronology.
