Photographic Treasures of the MNAAG

from the 2017-10-18 until the 2018-01-22

Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, until January 22nd, 2018, Guimet Museum (MNAAG) invites you to discover and examine an extraordinary selection of more than 100 photographic works depicting Burma in the 19th Century.

The exhibition brings together rare works that actually belong to the Burmese collection of the MNAAG which was acquired in the late 1980s as well as other recent acquisitions and donations to the museum. It highlights many interesting themes including the Burmese ethnic minorities and everyday life and shows as well wonderful monuments and views of the region.
