Fall For Naive Paintings Of The Great Naive Masters at Musee Maillol Paris

from the 2019-09-11 until the 2020-01-19

The Naive style of painting is one that appeals to many viewers because of the child-like approach to subjects, the use of colour and the sense of a dreamscape. We can’t help but get lost in some in these images and wonder about the minds that created them. The Paris Musee Maillol is set to give us a new opportunity to study the works of some of these key artists.

From the Douanier Rousseau to Séraphine. The Great Naïve Masters showcases a series of works from some of the greatest minds of the era. These include Rousseau, Bauchant, Rimbert, Louis and more. This show is therefore not only a chance to see works from a range of artists but also to compare the techniques and images in this naive movement. The show opens at the museum on the 11th of September and continues until the 19th of January the following year. It is the perfect way to enjoy some colour and fun on a grey winter’s day
