from the 2014-11-19 until the 2015-02-15

The exhibition, the first on the subject, proposes to discover the extraordinary richness of the Haitian artistic creationfrom the 19th century to the present day. This exploration of the visual arts aims to go beyond the archetypes of naïve and primitive painting and transcend the restrictive magico-religious and exotic vision associated with Haitian art.
With nearly 150 works : paintings, sculptures, installations, suspensions, ... video evidence of this cultural vivacity of the nineteenth century to the present.
